Our client is an innovative Finnish company specializing in energy-efficient district heating solutions.


As part of ambitious expansion plan into Germany, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Director to lead the business development efforts in North Rhine-Westphalia and drive the growth throughout the country.


The role in a nutshell

  • You will lead the market entry and establish presence in Germany.

Your primary focus will be on identifying opportunities, developing partnerships, and building a strong sales pipeline to position the brand as a leader in the German district heating sector.

About you

Key Responsibilities


Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities for district heating solutions. Develop and implement strategies to expand sales channels and increase market share.


Market Analysis:

Conduct market research to evaluate industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs.

  • Identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the German market.

Partnership Building:

Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, installers, and designers.

Sales and Marketing:

  • Plan and execute targeted sales and marketing initiatives to achieve revenue goals.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and forums across Germany.

Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and refine effective sales strategies tailored to the German market.

  • Provide detailed sales forecasts and regular performance reports.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of proven success in sales and business development, preferably in the district heating sector or related industries.

  • Strong network with distributors, installers, and other industry players.

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field is highly desirable.

  • A self-driven leader with excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Pragmatic and proactive in solving problems with a positive attitude.

  • Strong cultural sensitivity and the ability to navigate complex market dynamics.

  • Fluent verbal and written proficiency in both German and English.
