💡 Finnish companies have a significant impact on the Polish labour market. According to our research, 9 companies with Finnish DNA employ over 1000 people in Poland. The chart shows the top 10, and below are descriptions of the TOP3.

1️⃣ Nokia - Probably no need to introduce... but Nokia is one of the world's largest telecommunications infrastructure providers. In Poland the company employs over 7,250 people, making it Nokia's largest European division in terms of employment.

2️⃣ Nordea - the largest financial group in the Nordic countries with three branches in Poland (Warsaw, Łódź, 3miasto) where it currently employs over 5,600 people. Back in time, Nordea also had a significant consumer banking business in Poland until 2013.

3️⃣ PKC - PKC Group is a Finnish-origin company specializing in the production of wiring systems for the automotive and transport industries. In Poland, PKC has production facilities that provide advanced solutions to eq automotive customers around the world and currently employs more than 2,000 people. According to our memory, PKC entered the Polish market in the fall of 2008, during the worst weeks of the financial crisis, by acquiring production of wiring harnesses in MAN factory, in Starachowice.

💼 In addition, the TOP 10 included companies such as Stora Enso, Cargotec, Scanfil, UPM, TietoEvry, Onninen and Purmo. Bubbling under there are companies like Fortum, Tikkurila, Metsä, Kemira, Sanoma, Teleste and so on..

As a disclaimer, the TOP list is a result of our own detective work, and the numbers are gathered from public sources and directly from the companies. We apologize for any mistakes and are more than happy to do adjustments!
