Global Finnish IT company Tietoevry will open one of the European 5G technology development centers in Poznań and hire there up to 400 employees, mainly programmers and specialists in the Internet, telecommunications as well as C and C ++ programming languages. Poznań was chosen as the location of the company's 5G technology development center because of the city's large number of highly qualified employees. Moreover, the city's strengths include interesting and diverse educational offer of Poznań universities and office facilities.
The Polish branch of Tietoevry was opened in 2006. Poznań will be the sixth city with the company's office in Poland. Tietoevry is already present in Szczecin, Wrocław, Kraków, Warsaw and Gliwice.
